DAY1. ULAANBAATAR TO TERELJ NATIONAL PARK

This morning after breakfast we will drive to a nomadic family in Terelj National Park for 80 km (about 2 hour drive) to the east. Terelj National Park is one of the national parks of Mongolia. It is connected with Ulaanbaatar by a paved road. The park also has a Buddhist monastery that is open to visitors. Park wildlife includes brown bears and over 250 species of birds and you will have a chance to see a lot of animals such as yaks, sheep, goats and horses hanging out around this National park. The Tuul River flows through the park. The park has interesting formatted rocks, and includes two famous formations named for things they resemble: Turtle Rock and the Old Man Reading a Book.
Once we got to the National Park we will have welcome lunch with the host family who will guide us to the horseback riding following days, introduction to the nomadic lifestyle, wonder around the area, cook Mongolian National foods with the host family. Stay overnight in a ger. (Lunch and Dinner)

DAY2. STARTING OUR HORSEBACK RIDING

This morning after having breakfast at the family, we will get ready, saddle our horses and pack our stuff on those packing horses. Then we will start riding our horses and crossing some small rivers on the horseback. We will ride into a great landscape today such as rivers, beautiful valley and big mountain ranges. After riding for a while, we will realize that heading to the wilderness from civilization. We will have lunch in an open space and ride again to get to the camping area for tonight. We are camping tonight and feeling the real silence there. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

DAY3.RIDING ALONG THE TUUL RIVER.

In the morning after having breakfast, we will ride through the Tuul River until we have our lunch. Today we will have a great chance to see some birds of wildlife such as eagles, woodpeckers and some other birds. After the lunch, we will ride again until we reach the confluence of the Tuul and Khag rivers, where we are going to camp overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

DAY4. RIDE TO THE BLACK LAKE

After having breakfast this morning, we will ride to a forest where you will have great opportunity to see wild animals and after for a while we will begin to climb the mountain on the horseback through deep forest where it is rich of wolves, bears and deer. Once we climb up to the mountain, we will see the breathtaking lake called Black Lake /Khagiin Khar Nuur/. We will camp overnight on the shore of the beautiful lake. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

DAY5 AND 6. RELAXING DAYS

These days, we and our horses will have a full day of relaxing. We would enjoy a great rest at the lake and doing some swimming, fishing and hiking around the lake. Camping overnights. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

DAY7.RIDE TO KHOLBOO LAKES

Today we will saddle our horses and pack our stuff on our packing horses and ride again to Kholboo Lakes further on the valley. It would be more adventurous, if we climb the surrounding mountains and once we get there it would be brilliantly beautiful landscape. We will camp overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

DAY8.RIDING TO KHONGOR RIVER

After breakfast, we will ride through Khongor River valley. Riding down the stream for a while we will cross the river for a couple of times. We will have lunch there and ride again until we reach the campsite near the stream. We will camp overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

DAY9.RIDE BACK TO TERELJ NATIONAL PARK

Another day of riding, finally bring us back to the Terelj National Park where we will get back to the family of our horse guides. After passing the Khavirga Davaa pass, we will be got closer to the Terelj National Park. We will stay overnight in a family ger there having farewell dinner with the guides and the family. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

DAY10. DRIVING BACK TO ULAANBAATAR CITY

After setting up at the family, we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar. When we arrive to Ulaanbaatar, we will be transferred to a hostel or hotel for tonight. (Breakfast)
